Flow State Design™

Two meanings of flow live inside this practice. The athlete's peak state, earned through breath and preparation. The Taoist teaching of water, which knows when to be still and when to move. Every experience I design sits between them.

Athletic Flow

In my early twenties, training for high performance, I learned that peak states are not accidents. Visualization, breathwork, and deliberate preparation stack the nervous system for the moment it matters. Flow is engineered first, then surrendered to.

ii.

Taoist Flow

Water yields, and shapes stone. The Tao teaches stillness and action as one gesture: knowing when to move with the world around you, and when to let it move past. Qigong is where I first felt this in the body.

Origin

Curiosity about people, pattern, and tempo.

The through line of my life has been curiosity about people and how their patterns/tempo guide their work and intersect with others. How do they hold stress. How do they recover, or fail to. What makes one team move like water and another seize up under the same pressure.

Years of temp work and contracts placed me inside industries that rarely share a room: tourism, film, oil and gas, IT support, healthcare, hospitality. Every rotation was a new personality dynamic, a new stress signature, a new set of tools for reading a room and meeting it where it stood.

Alongside that, I trained. Massage Therapist. Reiki Master. Practice group leader in Spring Forest Qigong. Two time cancer survivor, which is the teacher no one asks for and the one that reorganizes everything you thought you knew about the body's intelligence. Volunteer board seats along the way, because the question kept pulling me back: how do we thrive together, not just survive.

Flow Energy Work is what those decades distilled into. A practice built for real nervous systems in real lives. Grief, deadlines, treatment, recovery, joy, all of it, with the tools to move through stressful life events and come out the other side more yourself, not less.

The method

Flow State Design™ is how a Reset is built.

Every experience, whether it is a Guided Reset™, a Restorative Reset™, a Presentation Reset™ for an executive stepping on stage, or the Collective Reset™ to come, is sequenced the way an athlete sequences a warm up and the way water finds its course. Sympathetic downshift, co-regulation, integration, closure. No state is left leaking into the next.
